More Exclusive Bobby’s Black Tie News!
Following yesterday’s announcement that James Watt and Reshmin Chowdhury will be hosting Bobby’s Black Tie, we have more news for you – hot off the press!
The toastmaster for the evening will be former President of the prestigious Society of London Toastmasters, Richard Birtchnell.
During the champagne reception, guests will be treated to the soothing sounds of Meredith McCraken (principal harpist for the Scottish Ballet and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra).
The entertainment will continue in the Ballroom, with some close-up magic and a stage show, courtesy of ‘Magicman’ Elliot Bibby; finalist on Britain Does Variety and winner of Scottish Close-Up Magician of the Year 2015.
The room will be filled with the cheery tones of 10-piece orchestra Tuxedo Jazz. Specialising i
n the music of the 1920s and 1930s, the Orchestra will pay homage to the best British and American dance bands of the era – plus one or two surprises.
After dinner, there will be a live auction, where guests will have the chance to bid on a variety of unique, high value items. If that isn’t mysterious enough, the auction will be hosted by a ‘surprise guest’. You’ll have to be there to find out who it is.
Book your tickets here.

Thank you for crediting me in your post, have to point out though that I am currently principal harpist with the Scottish Ballet and not “former” as the article says!

Hi Raj…. I would say this being a bid manager…. it should be ‘principal’ as in ‘leading/main/head’… not ‘principle’ which has a different meaning. It’s my principal principle to always point out those kind of errors…..!’
Many thanks for an excellent evening, really enjoyed it.
