A special thanks to our sponsors

The India Associations most major project to date would not be possible without help and support from its major sponsors.

Sterling Dental Foundation (sponsor size)

Sterling Dental Foundation

Sterling have been energetic supporters of the India Association for many years. They have supported events, shared meetings and have held dental camps in India during Bobby’s Walk Full Circle. We are extremely grateful for their extensive work and efforts in raising over amazing £15,500 for our latest initiative.

Bobby's Walk Full Circle

‘Bobby’s Walk Full Circle’ is a 2,600 mile charity trek across India, that will see India Association Chairman Bobby Grewal, walk from Kanyakumari (on the Southern tip of India) up the east coast, via Chennai and Kolkata to Delhi, where he is due to finish the walk in late March 2016. The amazing point to note is that Bobby completed his India west cost walk in 2005. 80 year old Bobby will embark on the five-month walk in late October 2015, with the aim of raising £1.5 million.

We still have far to go

This walk has already been over a year in planning. We are especially looking for sponsors, in the areas of air travel, transport and communication logistics. Every donation no matter what the size will help us reach our target. All money raised in the UK will be split equally between two of our nominated charities, the British Asian Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital together with the India Association. You can read more about Bobby's Walk by looking at the Projects section below or by clicking on Projects in the menu above.

Charity Fundraising

As a charity, we are always actively raising funds for the causes we support. Here you can see a number of our fundraising efforts both past and present.

Many of us think that we have over exerted ourselves if we walk for 30 minutes a day,  so imagine walking over 2,500 miles across India, from the north to the southern most point

Our Causes

Just some of the causes and charities we have supported since becoming a charity in 2001. Although we have reached the target amount for many of these, we are welcome the opportunity to support them further and would welcome any donations for our supported causes.
