This exclusive Black Tie event is hosted by the India Association in aid of Bobby’s Walk Full Circle.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our event hostesses who will escort you into the Garden Room at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower for a champagne reception and drinks from our complimentary bar. Here you can listen to soothing sounds from former principal harpist for the Scottish Ballet and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Meredith McCracken. An assortment of mouth-watering vegetarian and non-vegetarian canapes will be served by renowned and market leading Asian caterers Madhu’s and their ever attentive staff.
Our toastmaster for the night will be Past President of the well-respected and admired Society of London Tostmasters, Richard Birtchnell. In his commanding voice, you will be ushered into the Ballroom to be seated.
Your host and compère for the evening will be the highly experienced and successful broadcaster, BBC Radio’s James Watt. Prepare to be wowed by stunning close-up magic and a stage show from the Magicman Elliot Bibby, a finalist on Britain Does Variety and winner of Scottish Close-Up Magician of the Year 2015. The background will be filled with the sounds of Tuxedo Jazz who will be performing and singing live throughout the night.
Complimentary drink stations will be setup around the Ballroom and waiters will be on hand to take your drink requests directly from your table with Madhu’s once again providing service for the main meal.
There will be table prizes and a silent auction with items on display throughout the evening and the live auction will be hosted by a surprise guest.
During the evening you will learn about Bobby’s Walk Full Circle and the causes we are supporting through various speeches from our VIP guests.
As you can see, this will be an entertainment packed, fundraising night to remember.
If you are unable to attend Bobby’s Black Tie Event but still wish to make a donation for Bobby’s Walk Full Circle, please click here. We have teamed up with Golden Giving who will not levy any charges and will also claim gift aid on your behalf (if you qualify), which means for every £1 you donate, we will get £1.25 (less any bank charges)!
For security reasons and due to the fact this is a fixed seating event, ID will be required at the event’s registration desk where you will be checked-in. The age limit for guests is 18 years old or over.
There are paid parking places available in the hotel car park but these can fill up quite quickly, especially on a weekend. There is unrestricted parking on many roads around the hotel after 18:30. There is also NCP parking available but we suggest you book in advance to save costs and avoid disappointment.
There are no restrictions on what you can bring to the event except alcohol but with our free bar this will not be an issue!
