The Final Route from Shepherds Bush
From Queensdale Road, join Bayswater Road and cross to south side. Take main entrance into Kensington Gardens (opposite Queensway station). Then head diagonally east across the park. Suggest you stay south of the Serpentine and proceed along Rotten Row, ending up at Queen Elizabeth Gate, Hyde Park Corner. You will then have to cross underneath HP Corner, and head for the Green Park/ Constitution Hill exit.
Walk along Constitution Hill with Buckingham Palace on your right. Then you can either cross in front of Buckingham Palace and turn left into Birdcage Walk which leads into Great George Street and thence Parliament Square, or, you can walk along the Mall, cross to the south side then turn right into Horseguards Parade. Continue to Parliament Square.
