Today’s update.5th June

- The Journey From Dalkieth to Lauder 20.3 miles
Description
The day started at 6.30am...Although the walk started at 9.20am
We had to prepare the campervan....water, fuel and not to forget breakfast.....continental
After bfast we set off from Dalkieth...onto the A 68...towards Lauder....a small village 20.4 miles away....
We walked and walked stopped on a lay by...but before that we met an amazing guy....
Steave Mclay of BratyWagon 0131 561 9780 who had a snack bar van selling food to lorry drivers....
Steve was so so happy to see us....when told about the cause he was overwhelmed...
We then set off again....another many miles to stop to Tea at 4pm compliments of Surjit Mudhar....With Bikies and Cake...only a few...we need them burning tooooo many calories....
Then ......yes set off again for the final leg......to Lauder.....Arrived at Lauder about 5.45pm....it was still day light.....we then soaked our feet in hot salty water....Dave at the local petrol station gave us some buckets....useful..... Me and Bobby had a shower refreshed and hit the local pub.....the Beer was good...Then off to the Fish and chips shop.....the fish at Lauder NOT good.....
Its now 10.25pm....final write up...Can’t thank Surjit our Support for the Campervan....great driving.....
Well folks Adios for now....another day tomorrow.....another 20 miles to Jedhpur....not Jodhpur....
And Bobby has a cunning plan 4 ----2 moro....all will be revealed.....
