- Jedburgh to Keilder...en route not in a town...stopped after 20 miles

Description
At 7.40 we set off…and we seem to have our fair share of hill…..only 5 more by the end of the day.
On route there was a area called Langlee….thought of home..Langley in Slough
There was amazing scenery and Scotland is sooooooo beautiful….greenery everywhere…We were very high in altitude and in the distance mountains, hills and below lakes, rivers, streams. Sheep, cows…in touch with nature..
Also saw someone’s trampoline….not sure if it was from Vine lane???
Met a few more people that donated en route…and then the moment of truth.
We were at the Border…it was very high and two lay bys and a food wagon. We met lots of tourists here….Germans and bikers…lots of them….and the sound of fast bikes passing by…the adrenalin was pumping…We had lunch here…..fast food…burning so many calories…need the greasy food.
We then met Steave and Jackie…lovely “couple”…they had passed by then returned to donate. We spoke for 5 mins about the walk and their world trip that they had done….as we were to leave Jackie insisted that we take drinks from them…B4 u say booze it was only 7up…folks u were lovely…God Bless.
Our 20 miles ended in the middle of no where….just open land on the A68…We had to travel to the nearest town, being Hawick where we drove to 24 miles away….Parked up in a Morrison’s supermarket.
Surjit prepared the food….
We were very close to a canal and I saw a gentleman walking his dog, we chatted all of us and he too donated. Thanx
Adious…yet another day over…
