Today Sunday 8^th

 

As we were 24 miles away….the day started late after kitting up the campervan and the drive to the remote area near Kielder/

 

Not much to report today….we did only 5 miles today….even though it was our day off……headed towards Newcastle upon Tyne…

 

We arrived at the Sikh Temple Gurudwara at 1300hrs….The Committee gave us all a grand welcome…Bobby spoke and funds were raised. We must thank all the committee at the Gurudwara at Newcastle upon Tyne and Pritpal Singh Dhillon who arranged it all as well as Dalbir Sandhu (Chairman Fundraising IA)

Bobby was then whisked off to Sardar Jarnail Singh’s (Gen Secretary) residence unlike me and Surjit we set off to the town to sight see??

We were back at approx 6pm….tea was served with savouries followed by a fruit starter and main course compliments of Mrs Singh.

 

The night ended early at 10.30pm
